This is a very classic way to prepare the (small) peas. Usually in my family, this is the normal way I eat them. There are simply delicious.
Moreover, we usually prepare it with the frozen ones, as they are often better than the fresh ones. Isn’t it incredible?
- Vegetable broth
- Extravirgin olive oil, salt and black pepper
- A pot to prepare the broth
- I prepare the vegetable broth
- I fry the bacon (cut in cubes), I add the peas and some broth (as much as it is needed to cover the peas). I let it cook for about 10 minutes, I add some salt and pepper.
